How do I convert the time from KST?

Category: FAQs - Time

Korea Standard Time is GMT+9. Here are the corresponding times for the timezones commonly used by my students.

  • Sunday 10am KST =
    • Saturday at 5 p.m. PST
    • Saturday at 6 p.m. MST
    • Saturday at 7 p.m. CST
    • Saturday at 8 p.m. EST
    • Sunday at 1 a.m. GMT
    • Sunday at 6:30 a.m. IST
    • Sunday at 9 a.m. PHT/SGT/Indonesia (Southeast Asian regions)

Please note that Korea does not observe Daylight Saving Time, so when DST starts, the time difference will naturally decrease by one hour in countries where DST is applied. (That means the times listed above will be one hour later when DST is in effect.)

You can also use the time converter if you’d like to check more accurately.
